If workplace uniforms are not your company’s style, consider a t-shirt or polo shirt with your brand’s logo that employees can wear on company outings.

2. Encourage breaks

Everyone deserves a break now and then. Plus, sitting in front of a computer all day can cause headaches and fatigue. If employees are allowed to step outside, enjoy a quick walk or even get a cup of coffee from the nearest café, they’re less likely to crash in the afternoon.

3. Recognize and celebrate accomplishments

When your team meets or surpasses its quarterly goals, celebrate the accomplishments of your employees by taking them out for a long lunch. If an employee has shown improvement or worked really hard in the last month, let her or him know you’ve noticed.
